Fall 2010 RECAP

It's been a fantastic season all-around. We took a chance going outdoors, but we were blessed with great weather all season long. The competition was fierce week in and week out, and by the time the 10th week rolled around, it was anyones cup. I have a few words about each team..

10. Junkyard Dawgs - We saw them first at our tournament in Emmaus, and although they started off slow, they kicked it up a notch towards the end of the season

9. Juggernauts - An ID spinoff, Bill hooked up with a veteran in Thundermeow, and a team full of rookies that just seemed to get along great with each other, heck, 2 of them even got engaged during the season

8. Himmer Hicks - A vastly underrated team, we also met them first at the Emmaus tourney.Their season was filled with pick up trucks, shit kickers, rebel flags, and ended with couches and tires on the court, in true Hick fashion.

7. Freeballers - The founders team, we said goodbye to one of our co-founders, Jay, as he set off to greener pastures. Charlie, Jevon, Sleepy and company held it together best they could, even eeking out a few tourney wins

6. Choads - Where'd these guys come from? We met them opening day, with that nasty sling-arm from Jason, and Mark, who is never afraid to get up close, and ended up paying for it. A solid, season long threat

5. 9OH!8 - These guys get the "Most Distance Traveled" award, driving nearly an hour to make it on gameday. Also a solid threat, the Deemer brothers provided the 1-2 punch, keeping these guys in it every week

4. Baylors - Another ID spinoff, then Balls Deep for DBFB 2010(runners-up), they won our summer tourney and provided the league with the necessary testosterone to make it to the 1/4 finals of the fall tourney

3. Plan B - Veterans from day1, they get the "nice guy award", cause they are. No-Necker and company tore up the regular season again finishing a close 2nd, and placing 3rd in the fall tourney

2. Rusty Trumbones - Say what you want about these guys, but they come to play every week, annihiliating the regular season, and winning every championship D.A.D. had to offer. Hat's off gentlemen.

1 . Incomprehensible Demoralization - The 2nd season for us ends in victory. Some would say because I was out for all but 6 games of the season(with dodgeball injuries of course). Jeremy and Wingnut found some local talent and beefed up their squad, ending the regular season with the most ties(5) and finishing 3rd. We had to win the tournament coming up through the losers losers bracket, beating Plan B, then Rusty...twice. Coca Cola tastes best when you drink it from the D.A.D. Cup!!

I hope to see all you guys back in January, as we go back indoors in Macungue!! Until then, Join us for open session play Wednesday nights in Allentown!!
