Schedule is up
Here is Week 1 of regular play for the 2011 Winter Season!!! You will notice that some teams will play twice in one day. This will all change next week so we spread the love around throughout the season. Everybody will play everybody. No worries. We have 17 teams. 17 is not only an odd number but it's a prime number. Scheduling for this season became a nightmare. I even had two Math teachers try to help me with the requirements we wanted and even their heads were about to explode. Make sure you check and see what group your in. We split into two to lessen time in between games. So you either have to arrive at 11 or 12. See Ya'll on Sunday!

Winter 2011 Season Has Begun!
It was great seeing all this action today! A great big "Welcome" to the veterans of the league, and to all the new faces. Today began our 1st season of 2011, and it wasn't without its share of excitement! We saw some entirely new teams, The Ball Jugglers, Ball Busters, Great Balls On Fire, Balls Deep, and Green Bowl Packers, as well as some familiar faces on new teams such as the Underdogs, Angry Beavers, The Trigger Happy Penguins, who have the best website of the league,http://www.triggerhappypenguins.com/index.html and the Salty Nuts, with the greatest shirts!
At first glance, the competition seems pretty equal throughout. A surpise to some, Great Balls On Fire step up to the big leagues, bringing some big league game with them. When you have a guy named The Matrix, there is a lot to live up to, and they seem to have done just that.
Next week we begin keeping score to decide which of the top 14 teams will make the end of the season tournament. Next week may also bring some video footage as well as the highly anticipated newsletter.
The schedule will be decided this week, so check back around Thursday to see who and when you're team will be playing.
