Spring 2011 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Registration for the Spring 2011 D.A.D. season is now officially open.  We go back outdoors, at the fenced in volleyball courts at Cedar Beach in Allentown, Sundays from 11am-1pm.  Opening day will be on April 24th, the final tourney falling on July 3rd.  After the tourney, feel free to walk on over to the other side of Ott St. to the D.A.D. pavilion for our after party.  Talk about a killer July 4th picnic!
But wait! That's 11 weeks you say.  Yes.  We will need to skip May 29th for this pesky event the city calls Mayfair, but do we have a couple special things in store for you that weekend! That Friday will be the D.AD. Friday Night Lights Tournament, beginning at 9PM, under stadium lighting,  at a super-top secret location to be announced.  On the 29th, the players will nominate their 10 best peers to represent the D.A.D. in another tournament being held on our home court by another, albeit lesser, organization.

ALL HAIL THE NEW CHAMPS - BAYLORS TOP NOTCH

Well folks, as shocking as it may sound, the next placard on the coveted D.A.D. Cup will read Baylors Winter 2011.  We had a couple firsts this season.  The defending champs were the first to be knocked out, unable to eek out a single win, the Rusty Trumbones were not in the finals, and a rookie team, the Ball Busters were.  The Ball Busters had nothing for Baylors in the finals, as it was Bad Brad and his Boys day, more like their month.  They only lost 1 game all tournament, and went undefeated the final 2 weeks.

In my humble opinion, a much more deserving award could go to Baylors than the D.A.D. cup.  The class of the field award.  Not only did they display their athletic prowess on the dodgeball court, their acts of class, sportmanship, teamwork, and overall adherence to the unspoken code of conduct were unrivaled week in and week out.  My hat is off to you gentlemen.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!
